The building is 19th century and completely restored. It is just 3 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol with views from the building down into the historic Plaza Mayor, just 300 metres away. Inside which you can appreciate the House of the Bakers and the House of the Butcher as well as the Statue of Felipe III in its centre.

This is one of the the most exciting areas of Madrid, alive with markets, cafes, restaurants, nightlife and traditional culture. You have walking access to the Teatro Real, Palacio Real, Teatro Español and even the famous Prado Museum is short walk through Cortes from the apartment.
