This fantastic apartment is located right in the heart of old town Madrid, known as "Madrid of the Austrias". A neighbourhood full of Renaissance and Baroque buildings, palaces and monuments that rose in Madrid during the historic period when Hapsburg reigned in Spain.

Housed in our building just down the street from Plaza Mayor, this apartment makes the perfect, comfortable and stylish homebase from which to enjoy central Madrid. The building is 19th century and completely restored. It is just 3 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol with views from the building down into the historic Plaza Mayor, just 300 metres away. Inside which you can appreciate the House of the Bakers and the House of the Butcher as well as the Statue of Felipe III in its centre.

This is one of the the most exciting areas of Madrid, alive with markets, cafes, restaurants, nightlife and traditional culture. You have walking access to the Teatro Real, Palacio Real, Teatro Español and even the famous Prado Museum is short walk through Cortes from the apartment.

Enjoy queensize beds, lots of natural light, designer decoration and all the modern facilities. This includes a fully-equipped kitchen so you can stay in and enjoy the apartment like a Madrid local.

Plaza Mayor - Plaza Mayor is perhaps the most important plaza in Spain. It dates back to 1617 and is beautifully restored today. There are cafes and traditional stores throughout the plaza and it's always very lively with performers. A must see. bekijk op kaart
